MEET THE TEAM

  • Fox Wylde

    CO-FOUNDER/FACILITATOR

Fox Wylde (she/they), is a songwriter living on Vancouver Island (Canada). Currently studying contemporary voice and classical guitar at the Victoria Conservatory of Music. Their fervently written songs catalogue their dizzying observations and make sense of a senseless life. When they aren’t writing songs, you can find them crying about the sunset, following an impulse, or getting lost on purpose.

  • Hayla Abraham

    CO-FOUNDER/CREATIVE DIRECTOR/FACILITATOR

Hayla Abraham (she/her), singer, songwriter, musician, and educator living in London (UK). A lifelong student and practitioner of the arts, Hayla’s musical wanderlust, with a particular passion for diverse vocal traditions, has taken her to some wonderful places. This includes the time she lived in the mountains of West Virginia, singing Appalachian songs with the locals, bears, and fireflies, and that time she sang on South Korean TV.

With a cache of nifty ideas up her sleeve, a background in Facilitation in Community, and driven by her heart and a passion for making creative mentorship accessible, Hayla brings great warmth, wisdom, ingenuity, humour, and a wealth of experience to music-making and teaching. She also has a cool accent!

  • Lottie Johnston

    CO-FOUNDER/MEDIA DIRECTOR/FACILITATOR

Lottie Johnston (she/her), is a solo musician living in San Francisco (USA). She’s been exploring the world of guitar playing and songwriting for 10 years, with many of her songs revolving around the beauty of deeply missing somewhere or someone, and learning to accept change through the seasons. Or sometimes they are about things like… what if you adopted the ghost of a dog?

She released her first EP, Little Bro, in February 2021 and her debut album is in the works. She’s recently been employed as the music director at summer camp where she taught kids to write songs and play guitar, and lately, you can find her playing local open-mics and busking her original songs (hot tip: she’ll play for cookies). Outside of music, Lottie loves experimenting with art and wandering aimlessly to a good playlist, with a good snack.
