Creativity in Community

The Circle was founded in early 2021 after

Fox Wylde, Hayla Abraham, and Lottie Johnston met in a songwriting class.

A passion for music, connection, and cultivating strong, supportive communities

brought them together - the rest is history.

Drawing upon their diverse talents and skillsets,

and the love and commitment of the artists who have become their community,

they created, The Circle: a facilitated space for musicians

to gather, share, and offer one another support and co-mentorship.

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING

"The Circle is an uber-supportive and kind community of like-minded creatives who have worked so hard to help me improve my songwriting. Feedback is non-intrusive, and offered at a level that each songwriter is comfortable with. Songwriters are the best listeners! Their perceptive feedback is so helpful as I am refining my songs to their finished forms. Structured exercises help open the mind to different ways of putting songs together, and the whole experience helps me stay motivated to come with new material to share. It is a really special community that I feel honored to be a small part of." – Mark R.

“The Circle is a beautiful space to share and witness creativity, inspiration, ideas, as well as more vulnerable aspects of the creative process. The facilitators are such lovely people - they do an excellent job holding a space that feels safe, inspiring, fun and deeply creative. I experience the other group members as gifted & unique, as well as encouraging, kind and helpful. I have received so much great support from the Circle and I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for an online space to co-create a musical community.” – Zoë D.

"The Circle is a wonderful and solid community that fosters musical creativity and development. I'm very glad to have found this little corner of the world, which was carefully carved out by the facilitators' care, receptiveness, and talents.” – Leanne P.

“I thought it was a cult. I wasn’t wrong. Burn all your possessions and join us!!!”
